SB 549 (Bradford) - ORA Letter
This bill would require electric and gas investor-owned utilities to notify the CPUC, within 60 days, when funds authorized by the CPUC for maintenance or safety are redirected for other purposes. This bill would also make this information publicly available in the appropriate CPUC proceeding.
SB 598 (Hueso) - ORA Letter
bill would require the CPUC to reduce residential customer gas and electric utility service disconnections for nonpayment.
SB 566 (McGuire) - ORA Letter
bill would require specified telecommunication services that provide
911 services to notify the Office of Emergency Services within 60
minutes of discovery when they have a service outage in a rural area.
